What exactly does DropMyTrip do?
You drop in the travel content you've already saved — Pinterest pins, Reddit threads, YouTube videos, blog posts, or screenshots of TikToks and Reels — and we extract every specific place mentioned. You get a private map of those places, organized by neighborhood, with one-tap exports to Google Maps deep links, KML, or a printable PDF.

How is this different from Google Maps Lists or ChatGPT?
Google Maps Lists makes you add every place by hand. ChatGPT can recommend generic spots but can't see the specific TikToks and pins you've actually saved — so its answers stay shallow. Can I use my saved TikTok and Instagram posts?
Yes — through screenshots or by pasting captions. We don't connect to your TikTok or Instagram account, because those platforms don't permit it. Pinterest, YouTube, and Reddit work through their official APIs. For TikTok/Reels, the cleanest way is: take a screenshot on your phone, drop it in DropMyTrip, we OCR and extract.

Can I import the result into the Google Maps mobile app?
Honest answer: Google Maps doesn't allow direct list import — they've refused for years. Is my data private? Do you scrape anyone?
Every trip is private to you. We don't run a public feed. We never connect to your social accounts. We don't scrape TikTok, Instagram, or Xiaohongshu — only you can upload your own screenshots. Uploaded images are auto-deleted after 30 days; only the extracted text and place names persist. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
